Our Facts

CDI HS has served  64,669 children; 11,481 staff; and 102 programs between September 2000 and August 2007.

Our programs have been in 36 states and 12 federal regions, including: 1 migrant/seasonal program; 4 tribal programs; 16 Early Head Start only programs; 19 programs providing both EHS and HS services.

Program models included: part-day, full-day, part-year, full-year, center-based, home-based, prenatal, combination models and partnerships with both family child care homes and private child care centers.

Size of programs range from 20 to 2,733 children in both inner city and rural environments.

Oversight of 8 delegate agencies.

Managed up to seven funding streams in one local Head Start/Early Head Start program.
